My House…

Isaiah 56:7 …my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

We enjoy our house. It suits our family and people often visit and spend time with us. We made our house just the way we like it. Our house is well suited to our family and what we do. It is Glenn & Esther’s House.

Today’s verse lets us know that God has a house too. It is a house designed by God to function His way. It is a place where His family comes together. It is a dwelling place where His people want to be. It is God’s House.

So, what makes God’s house a house of prayer is simply His people praying. Prayer should be the number one occurrence in his House. Without it God’s House would be just another place like a club or a cafe. It is prayer that makes it His house!

That’s right, it takes born again believers praying to make it a house of prayer. As a part of God’s family we must set our sights on becoming a people of prayer. The key to becoming this people of prayer is that we must first become a person of prayer.

This week let’s build God’s House by taking our personal prayer life to a whole new level. As we become a person of prayer then His House will become a House of prayer. It will help to strengthen and equip us in overcoming every struggle we face in life.

Make this your week to grow in God through prayer.

I Agree With You…

Matthew 18:19-20 “I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.”

Nowadays you can order almost anything on-line and get it delivered speedily to your door. It is so easy and convenient that millions shop that way each week. But, did you know that, prayer could be that expedient too?

Our verse today shows that whenever 2 or more believers pray in agreement with Jesus, overcoming power is released. It is delivered rapidly to our doorstep for our use. Now that, to me, is the best kind of on-line shopping!

A key to receive this overcoming power is to agree with Jesus and other believers when we pray. This is called the prayer of agreement. Amos 3:3 says that we can’t even walk together until we agree. That is why our prayers must agree with Jesus and His Word: the Bible. This causes us to walk together and have victory.

This week we want to pray in agreement with you.

Today, EMAIL US at and tell us what you would like us to stand in prayer with you about.

We will write each one down in our prayer of agreement book and WE WILL PRAY over them.

As you do this, stay expectant and ready for overcoming power to be express delivered to you from heaven. The works of the enemy can be destroyed in your family as we agree with Jesus!

Real Truth…

John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the TRUTH THAT YOU KNOW will set you free”

Often we see images in the press of the solid bars on prison cells or the sharp razor wire that incarcerates and separates people from freedom. We hear stories of brazen escapes by inmates and their subsequent recapture and return to prison. Freedom is something that we cherish and it is also something that God cherishes for his people.

This verse tells us that we each need to be set free. Many believers are unknowingly held captive every day of their lives. Their captivity is a cage formed by lies and deception caused by a lack of knowledge. The solution is simple: obtain the key that opens the prison cell. The key is simply to KNOW THE TRUTH from God’s Word.

It is important to understand that truth alone never brings freedom. It is the TRUTH THAT YOU KNOW that produces it. Jesus says we are able to know His truth and that is what sets us free. THE TRUTH THAT YOU KNOW SETS YOU FREE!

So, this week, join us as we continue in God’s Word together to KNOW TRUTH. Each day, set time aside to gain understanding from God’s Word. Let it disciple you into a new arena of freedom. Liberate yourself from the bondage of lies and deception and step up into a new-found freedom. The more you know the more you can grow so FLOURISH DAILY in His Word!

The Return Policy…

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind

Have you ever received a gift that was completely unsuitable? Then you discover that the store has a return policy. When you take your gift in they will exchange it for something you can really use. You leave with what you actually need.

This verse lets us know that we don’t have to accept every gift that is offered to us. In fact God has a super exchange policy that is available to every believer. He says that if we ever receive the spirit of fear we can come to him and exchange it for power, love and a sound mind. Now that’s a great deal!

Often the spirit of fear tries to blow into our life. It leaves cowardice, timidity, fear and intimidation as gifts for us. These gifts DO NOT come from God, so we don’t want them. We need to exchange them for things that we can always use. God says he will give us explosive spiritual power, agape love and a disciplined self-controlled mind whenever we exchange them with him. Now that’s a great deal!

This week let’s make this great exchange. Come to God with you unwanted gifts of cowardice, timidity, fear and intimidation and exchange them for His gifts of power, love and a sound mind. You will appreciate them and use them continually. You’ll be so glad you swapped them!

Job 8:7 “Then, although your beginnings were small, your future will be VERY GREAT INDEED”

We are at the beginning of the 2nd half of 2012. Even though the new year seems only days ago, 6 months has actually passed by. At the start of this year we encouraged you that “Jesus has already gone into 2012 to prepare the way for you!” You can read about this on our BLOG POST [Click Here]. Now we are at the ½ way mark of the year.

This verse becomes very timely today. It says that this years beginning may seem small but the remainder is going to be VERY GREAT INDEED. Now that sounds awesome to me! Over the previous 6 months we saw that God did great, wonderful and mighty things for every one of us. Remember though, that they are small in comparison to what He wants to produce in the final portion of 2012.

Jesus has prepared 6 VERY GREAT months ahead for us. We must keep advancing, obeying Him and giving our life to His purpose. As we do this we obtain a future that is VERY GREAT INDEED. It is available, so let’s go get it!

Our key to apprehending this future is to not falter in our progress. Today, let’s commit to staying tuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit, obedient to God’s Word and in love with the Father. The result will be that 2012’s small beginnings will end up VERY GREAT INDEED as our year draws to a close!
