Shepherds Saw A star…

“Seeing was believing. They told everyone they met what the angels had said about this child.”
Luke 2:17

The bible shows us that shepherds were in the area when Jesus was born. They may have seen the star that showed His birth. The shepherds had a very unique role to play and a Godly strength that we can learn from. We’re told the shepherds saw & believed!

Many people are just like these shepherds, they have to see to believe. The drawback is that many people who see and believe never tell anyone about it. The shepherds were different. When they saw, they believed, and then they told everyone they met. Luke 2:18 says that all who heard the shepherds were impressed.

We have the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can read it in the Bible and believe every promise contained therein. But the true power is released when we start telling others about it. Don’t try to impress people with your clothes, hair and car, rather tell them the truth about Jesus and they will be impressed.

So, this week let’s think about what we’ve seen & believed in our Christian lives that would cause us to tell everyone about Jesus. Christmas is a beautiful season to tell other people about the good news and what it means for them. We can spread the gospel simply by striking up a conversation with someone and sharing its life-changing truths. C’mon give it a go… you’ll be so glad you did!
