Circle Of Protection…

“God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray”
Psalm 34:7

Have you ever thought to do something, walked to the next room and forgotten completely why you went there? If we’re quick to retrace our steps, we can remember and do what we intended. Frustrating as this maybe it happens to the best from time to time.

Today’s verse gives us a magnificent reason why we should be proactive in prayer and not forget. When we pray God’s angel set up a circle of protection around us. I don’t know about you but I LOVE the sound of that. A circle of protection, set up by God’s angel, around us!

I think the early church understood this fact so much better than most current day believers. It’s probably the reason they penned verses like Luke 21:36 “Pray always”, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “never stop praying” and Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always” They understood the protection that came as they prayed. That’s why they encouraged us to always be in prayer, so we’ll always be protected.

This week let’s remember that prayer is simply a conversation between us & God. If we feel vulnerable or unsafe then prayer brings instant protection. No matter where we are, or who we’re with, prayer will instantly connect us to God and His circle of protection.

Forgotten Again…

Psalm 34:7 “God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray”
