It’s Never Impossible…

Luke 9:13 But Jesus said, “You feed them…”

I just love Jesus! He gives such clear instruction. In this instance the disciples thought He was telling them to do something impossible. In reality Jesus had told them to do something that was difficult but not impossible. Jesus never asks us to do anything that is impossible.

So, Jesus demonstrated exactly how to have victory over a difficult task…

  1. He took what was available
  2. He put His trust in heaven as His source
  3. Prayed & commanded Blessing on what was in his hands

The result was that the little He held was multiplied and became more than enough to complete the task. It was a difficult task but it was not impossible.

It is easy for us to feel challenged by God’s Word and what it tells us to do. The fact is it may be difficult but it is never impossible.

When we feel this way we are to do as Jesus did…

  1. Take what is available
  2. Put our trust in Him as our source
  3. Pray & command Blessing on what we have

The result will be multiplication to achieve the task. We will have more than enough to complete it. Remember it may seem difficult but it will never be impossible.

Why not apply this truth in our lives from today on. I believe we will begin to see the miraculous take place and we will discover that nothing is impossible when we put our trust in God!

The Right Operation…

Job 5:8-9 “If I were you, I would go to God and present my case to him. He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.” [NLT]

God has a “modus operandi” for everything in life. Often life gets overwhelming and we overlook the obvious by attempting to achieve results or find the answers without God. We create problems when we fail to do things God’s way.

The best way is always God’s way. When we go to Him and commit our cause then He can carry out His part.

Now here is the power of presenting our case to God. His part is doing “great things” that are “marvelous” and “without number” WOW – the miraculous! What a promise!

Go to God today and present your case. Stop your busy life for a moment and give God what he needs to bring forth great things that are marvelous countless miracles in your world!

He is for you today!

Safety Ahead…

Proverbs 4:25-26 “Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.”[NLT]

Whenever my dad ploughed a field he would look for a tree on the other side of the pasture, focus on it, then drive the plough straight towards it. By doing this each furrow would always be straight and parallel with the rest. This happened because he had lined up a target in the distance and it caused him to chart a straight course.

As you can see, today’s Proverb shows us that we are to do exactly the same in our life. God desires us to look straight ahead and fix our eyes on our future in Him. The result? God says that as we do this we will stay on His safe path. What an awesome promise!

This is why we need to stop wasting time with our past.  The truth is God wants us to set our focus on what lies BEFORE us in Him.  God has great opportunities ahead so keep looking forward and fix your eyes on His future. God will never disappoint you!
