Come In…

“I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.”
Revelation 3:8

People appreciate someone opening a door for them. It is always an honor to do so as it helps make another’s access easier. When a door is opened for us it enables us to move faster, easier and safer to our destination. A closed door stops us and slows us down.

Today’s verse reminds us that God notices all the things we do. We’re told He moves ahead of us opening the doors that lead to our future. When God opens a door we assured that it’s impossible for anyone else to close. So when a God opened door is ahead of us we should plot our course to pass through it.

But in some seasons of life it’s easy to think “is all this worth it” especially when we’re lacking in strength. When we’re feeling weak we must continue to trust God, His Word & His ways. Times of weakness are not excuses to deny Him and walk away.  They are the times when we need to get up, move forward and pass through the doors He’s opened.

This week let’s remember that God sees everything we do. Remember that He’s preparing our future by opening the right doors to us. Let’s pass through these doors quickly & safely staying true to the destination God’s planned for us. Let’s dare to believe that today is our time for God’s open doors and we’re going to advance though them even if we’re feeling weak.
