Psalm 36:5 “Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds”
Have you ever taken time to look at the sky? At night the stars seem uncountable in number as they stretch forth in every direction. In the daytime clouds sweep by seemingly close enough to touch but always beyond our grasp.
Today’s verse lets us know that God’s faultless, reliable and constant love is as vast and endless as the heavens we see at night. Not only that, His faithfulness reaches beyond the things that we can see until it effects the things that we can’t.
When we made Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives He extended His unfailing love and far reaching faithfulness to us. We must accept and walk in these two amazing provisions. God loves us unfailingly and His faithfulness reaches far beyond what is visible. Together they empower us to achieve the purposes and plans that God has ordained for us.
This week take time to stop and look at the sky in the day and at night. Allow the Holy Spirit to minister and show you the great extent of God’s love. Allow Him to reveal how far reaching His faithfulness is. Accept His love and faithfulness and walk in it. Before long you’ll be empowered to win in life and be able to help others flourish like never before.
