Easy as 1, 2, 3…

We saw it, we heard it, and now we’re telling you
1 John 1:3

When people try to explain how to achieve something they’re familiar with, they often say it’s as easy as one, two, three. In other words, it’s something that’s simple & basic to accomplish when we learn how. Once we understand the basics, we’ve got a foundation that we can build on. As we build, we’ll discover a joy that comes from achieving the results from what we’ve learnt.

In today’s verse John the Evangelist teaches us a foundational but very powerful lesson. John says whatever he’s sees & hears about Jesus he tells other people. He’s not keeping it a secret, hidden away so no one knows. John was a cheerleader for everything that God was doing. He did this so that others could experience the same joy he was.

John’s cheerleading technique was as easy as 1, 2, 3…
1] See something God is doing
2] Hear something about what God is doing
3] Tell others about it

This week lets be proactive cheerleaders like John the Evangelist. Let’s keep our eyes open to see what God is doing. Let’s keep our ears open to hear what God’s saying. Then let’s open up our mouths and start telling others about all the powerful things that we’re seeing & hearing. This will cause great friendship as well as delivering untold joy into our lives. Cheerleading also builds God’s Church and will strengthen His people into the future!
