Formed & Fashioned…

“So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us.”
2 Corinthians 5:20

The bible lets us know that we are wonderfully & fearfully made. God has formed & fashioned us so we can achieve His purpose and plan for our lives. Once we realize who we are, we’re enabled to accomplish what we need to do.

Today’s verse states that we are also Christ’s ambassadors. An ambassador is a person who stands in the place of the one they represent. When we’re born-again, we’re made, formed & fashioned to represent Christ Jesus… becoming His ambassadors here on earth. As we realize this it enables us to get on with the job of connecting this world back to the Creator.

As ambassadors we’re to be the hands, feet and voice of God to this world. Our lives are to reflect who Jesus is. His Word must order everything we do. This will enable us to walk in this high office so we can connect broken people back to Him. All we have to do is start the work He’s given.

This week let’s step into the high office of Christ’s ambassador. Let’s work hard at connecting broken, distraught and lonely people back to God. Let’s always remember that each soul is precious and every soul is longing for a restored relationship with the Creator. This is what we are made, formed & fashioned to do, so let’s do it.

Who we are…

2 Corinthians 5:20 “So we are Christs ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us.”

The bible lets us know that we are wonderfully and fearfully made. God has formed & fashioned each of us so we can achieve His purpose and plan for our lives. Once we realize who we are, we’re enabled to accomplish what we need to do.

Our verse says that we are Christ’s ambassadors. An ambassador is a person who stands in the place of the one they represents. We are made, formed and fashioned to represent Christ Jesus. When we were born again we became His ambassadors here on earth. Realizing this enables us to get on with the job of connecting this world back to the creator.

As ambassadors we are to be the hands, feet and voice of God to this world. Our lives should reflect who Jesus is and God’s Word should order everything we do. These two things strengthen and empower ambassadors for their future.

So, do we have what it takes to be ambassadors of Christ? Yes we do! When we were born again we were enabled to walk in this high office. So we must start the work of connecting broken people back to Him. It’s what we are made, formed & fashioned to do. So lets get on with the job.

Make today a turning point in your life. Step into the high office of Christ’s ambassador and work hard at connecting broken, distraught and lonely people back to God. Remember that each soul is precious and each soul is longing for a restored relationship with their creator.
