2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
We celebrated Jesus on Good Friday & Resurrection Sunday and are now enjoying Easter Monday. It is the first day of a new month as well as the commencement of a brand new week. The anticipation of new things that God is about to do is building.
This verse helps us to understand how to deal with new things. It says that we are a new creation. It reminds us that old things die and new things come. As we begin this new week and month in the power of Christ we have this excellent verse to keep Jesus fresh in our minds.
Easter showed us that the resurrection power of Christ is very real. This power has the ability to make things new. It is available to anyone who is in Christ. It will cause some things in our lives to die as well as creating and birthing new things.
This week, let’s allow Christ’s resurrection power to invade every area of our lives. Old things will die and new things will be birthed for our future. We’re in a season of new beginnings so let’s jump into the powerful plans and purposes of God. Prepare for your future by allowing God’s new things to come alive in your life this week.
