I am the Lord, the God of all people. Nothing is too difficult for me
Jeremiah 32:27

If there were no speed limits on a highway how fast would we drive? Some would drive fast enough to get to their destination on time whilst others might speed up to arrive early. Some would leave late making up lost time on the way. Others might drive slowly taking in the scenery arriving whenever they get there. Even if there weren’t a set limit each individual would limit themselves.

Today’s verse lets us know that there are no limits in God. Limits are simply anything that restricts & confines. For example, a speed-limited vehicle is restricted to a much lower speed than what it was built for. If we take the limits off it’ll move faster, go further & achieve more. In the same way when our limits are taken off, we can move faster, go further and achieve so much more than before. When our limits are removed, we can maximize our full potential.

God has no limits to what He can do but we often limit Him. Whenever we limit Him, we limit ourselves. We restrict our future and end up with a life not quite as full as we had hoped. When we remove our limits, we release God to lead us to our full potential, achieving everything He purposed & planned for our lives [Jeremiah 29:11]

This week let’s take the limits off of God [Psalm 78:41]. Let’s release Him from the box we’ve restricted Him to. Let’s start to dream again, believe again and regain our faith in Him. Start to actually believe that “Nothing is too difficult for him” and that “Nothing is impossible for Him” [Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37]. As we form our lives around His Word our limits are removed and our future is empowered to reach its full potential.

Future Proof…

For no word from God will ever fail
Luke 1:37

Words are an extremely powerful & creative force [Proverbs 18:21]. Each day people allow words to stream from their mouths oftentimes unhindered and unchecked. Every word that we hear leaves us with a choice to either accept or disregard it. The words we don’t disregard are the ones that fashion and form our future.

Today’s verse lets us know that when we receive God’s Word it never fails to produce abundantly good fruit in our lives. God’s Word produces success, future & hope in every situation. Even if it seems impossible, when we allow God’s Word to enter, things begin to move & change. But we must receive His Word to obtain its benefits [1 Thessalonians 2:13].

People will often speak encouraging words to each other. Other times the words shared are harmful and destructive. We must refuse to accept the wrong words and replace them with what God’s Word says. GOD’S WORD WILL NEVER FAIL US! Whenever we accept what God says we’ll get Godly results. These results will transform & renew every part of our lives.

This week let’s take a moment to refuse the harmful & destructive words that have been spoken to us. Let’s take God’s Word and replace the bad words with what He says. Let’s allow the “Word that never fails” to transform us towards a flourishing future. It’s a future that’s filled with God’s purpose & plan. It’s a future where the impossible changes into the possible. It’s the future we want, so let’s do it.

Crosswords…

For nothing is impossible with God
Luke 1:37

Crossword puzzles can provide endless hours of entertainment for many people. We ponder & think on the clues trying to join the words together so we eventually solve the puzzle. Occasionally one clue will stump us and no matter how small it is it stops us from completing the crossword. Our lives can sometimes feel like that complicated crossword puzzle.

Today’s verse reminds us about a powerful facet of God. He has a solution for every puzzle we face in life. No matter how difficult, complicated or impossible the situation is, when God’s included there’ll always be a great solution. The problem is we often want to solve it without God and we end up getting stumped and disheartened then we give up.

The key is simply to get God involved in these areas as quickly as possible. Don’t carry a hard or difficult situation all by yourself. Take it to prayer and ask God to help you solve it with love, wisdom and compassion. He has provided a way through and the Holy Spirit wants to show it to you.

This week let’s write “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD” across our bathroom mirror so we don’t forget. Whatever problem, puzzle or difficulty arises in our lives let’s remember that “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD”. Then let’s take each area to God in prayer and listen to His response. Before long the areas of life that have had us stumped will become areas of ease. Life will be flourishing and become enjoyable again.
