Birth Day…

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:11

We all celebrate the birth of a new baby into our families. These events are often surrounded by great excitement & celebration. Pictures are taken, phone calls are made & the birth is recorded so that we cannot forget this special occasion.

Today’s verse reminds us of a special occasion. A day that actually occurred! It is the day that our Saviour was born and He is Christ the Lord. There is no need to doubt or to look for another Saviour. Jesus has already arrived. His arrival was a world-changing event.

Jesus was born especially for us. He eternally changed our direction and restored joy, hope and peace to our lives. Our restoration in Jesus is so complete that it can’t be lost unless we decide to reject it. But who would want to reject joy, hope and peace in their life?

This week let Jesus give you, your family and your friends joy, hope and peace. Start by telling them about the Good News of Jesus when you see them at Christmas? Tell them about Him and give the Holy Spirit some seed to work with in them. Jesus wants to transform & change their lives into something they’ll be eternally grateful for.

Today is the Day…
