Healing Jesus…

Philippians 2:9 “Because of this, God has also greatly exalted him and he has given him The Name which is greater than all names…”

Today, I sit writing this email in a medical library. There are hundreds of thousands of books stacked on row after row of shelves. They are all filled with information about sickness, disease and infirmities. They cover being unwell in the physical, mental and spiritual realms.

Now, remember that Adam was entrusted by God to name His creations in Genesis 2. Ever since then mankind has given names to everything they discover. Nothing exists that we will not name. So, as I survey this library of books filled with words, I laugh to myself. We have just one word, one name that is above all the multiplied millions of ailments named. We have the name of Jesus!

This is the truth of the GOOD NEWS of the gospel. EVERY knee must bow to the name of Jesus. Every sickness, disease or infirmities must admit defeat. Jesus has already won the victory over them. The battle is already finished!

Are you ready to prepare for a victorious week? We need to take this GOOD NEWS and wage war with it. Lets speak the faith filled name of Jesus against whatever ails us, never taking “no” for an answer. We’ll be staring victory in the face before we know it.

Remember that we continue in pray for you daily. We know that God’s best is pursuing you into your future.

Guaranteed Supply…

Philippians 4:19-20 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. NOW unto God and our Father be glory for EVER AND EVER. Amen.” [KJV]

God supplying all our need is a miraculous act. The secret is that His supply should always cause a powerful response from us… we should glorify God in our words, our life and our testimony FOREVER AND EVER.

But there’s even more! An important key is held in this verse concerning timing. It says we should glorify God NOW… the timing is NOW!!! We are not to wait or hesitate… we should immediately give glory to our God knowing He keeps His promises.

As our needs are met, our reaction is to be instant and consistent in giving glory to God. It should be as automatic to us as breathing. Verse 19 of Philippians 4 tells us that our God will supply all our need and verse 20 instructs us to give Him glory eternally because of His faithfulness towards us.

So there you have it, as we glorify God in our words, our life and our testimony it commences a cycle of blessing that cannot be stopped, it will follow us into eternity… How amazing is our God!

What are you waiting for? Let God hear from you today!

Greater and Greater…

1 Chronicles 11:9 “So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.” [KJV]

Whenever God is with someone or something it will grow to be greater and greater. Now this verse uses the word “waxed”. It means to expand, increase and enlarge. Whatever you are doing for the Lord it has the potential to expand greater and greater, increase greater and greater and enlarge greater and greater. This happens simply because the Lord of hosts is with you.

Each of us passes through seasons where it seems like things are not increasing like we think they should. These are often the winter seasons of our lives. They are times where everything seems dormant but in reality these times enable us to rest and refresh for the upcoming season of growth and fruitfulness that is arriving next.

Just as David waxed greater and greater, we can wax greater and greater because the Lord of hosts is with us. As we unreservedly follow Jesus, He makes each one of us so much stronger than we were 2 years ago, 1 year ago or even 6 months ago. Why? As God is with us He proves His greatness in our lives making it greater and greater.

This week seek to expand, increase and enlarge in your knowledge, understanding and intimacy with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit and allow Him to cause you to become greater and greater!!!
