A Bright End…

Proverbs 4:18 “The ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine.” [MSG]

We spent time in a small Australian town where a great tourist attraction was glowworms.  As the evening grew dark the worms began to glow. It seemed the later you stayed and the darker it became the brighter the worms glowed.

According to God’s word our lives should glow with His light too. How does this happen? By living right. Living right means living the way that God’s Word instructs us to live. When we do this our light shines brighter and begins illuminating everything around us. It does not matter how dark the world becomes our light just glows brighter – like the glowworms.

Ponder this for a moment. When you live your life God’s way it causes an illumination of His path for your life.  God desires to illuminate every step we take to make it easy for us to achieve our God destination. God wants you to reach it.

Living the right lifestyle will illuminate the way ahead for both you and those around you.

Let your light shine brightly today!

All The Right Ingredients…

Psalms 19:14 “Let the WORDS of my mouth and the meditation of my HEART , be acceptable in Your sight, 
O LORD, my STRENGTH and my REDEEMER.” [NKJV]

Don’t settle for your thoughts when you can choose God’s thoughts! Here’s how it works… This particular verse shows us that the emphasis is on us to keep our WORDS and HEARTS in check.

We are instructed that we will come into God’s acceptable sight when the WORDS we speak and the thoughts of our HEART are in line with His Word. As we apply this in our lives He becomes our manifest LORD, STRENGTH and REDEEMER.

God has always been careful with His words and His thoughts toward us… we should be the same! Our WORDS are influential and they are powerful forces that flow from our HEARTS. We must take great care with them in our daily lives.

The message bible says it so beautifully…

Psalm 19:14 “These are the words in my mouth; these are what I chew on and pray. Accept them when I place them on the morning altar, O God, my Altar-Rock, God, Priest-of-My-Altar.” (MSG)

So if you want to enjoy God’s acceptable sight towards you today, chew on His thoughts, words and ways and place your WORDS and your HEART on His altar in prayer.

In A Class By Itself…

Psalms 33:4 “For the word of the Lord is RIGHT; and all his works are done in TRUTH” [KJV]

It’s a powerful fact that the Word of the lord is RIGHT. Not only is it RIGHT but also the bible tells us that God’s Word is fully tested. When anything has gone through a punishing test we know that we can trust it without hesitation. God’s word has passed the test and it is RIGHT.

Now just as the word of the Lord is RIGHT, all of God’s works are done in TRUTH. This means that when it comes to the works of God, nothing is hidden and nothing is misleading… they are truth. You will get exactly what God’s word says you will get. Why? Because the word is RIGHT and all His works are TRUTH.

In our current season, on our current path, and during our current journey we are to continually trust God in every arena of life. We can trust His word and we can trust His work. God’s word is RIGHT and His works are TRUTH.

Enter this week knowing that you are blessed and empowered for victory!!!
